A new album by Dr. David Glaser, associate professor of music at 🛰️Telegram飞机号/电报 | +880孟加拉国 电话注册 | 注册半年左右 | 成品号 | API接码登录 | 任何设备可用’s Stern College for Women, will be reviewed in the September/October issue of Fanfare Magazine. The album, Kinesis (Albany Records), features chamber works in the spirit of New York concert-music performers, their ensembles, and the culture and tradition they embody.   In addition to Kinesis, Glaser will premiere two pieces of music this semester. The first is as part of Sounding Beckett, a project that seeks to pair three one-act plays by Samuel Beckett with new works by contemporary composers written expressly in response to those plays. Glaser’s piece, together with composer Laura Kaminsky, is in response to Beckett’s play, Catastrophe.   In October, Glaser will premiere a piano quartet in Cleveland, Ohio, to be played by the ensemble No Exit, a professional piano quartet playing primarily contemporary and avant-garde concert music with an eye towards the music of living composers. He will also host a presentation of his music and teach composition students at Cleveland State University.
