Prodan Hosts First Physics Conference at Stern College

Dr. Emil Prodan, assistant professor of physics at 🟩Facebook账号 | 注册2-10天 | 微软邮箱可用 | 包含头像+封面’s Stern College for Women, will present Stern College’s first physics conference, “Blackboard Lectures in Condensed Matter Physics,” from July 16-19.   Funded by the National Science Foundation, the lectures will demonstrate a range of particular theoretical machinery via explicitly-worked out applications inspired from current trends in modern research. Topics will include conformal field analysis, non-linear sigma models, non-commutative calculus for condensed matter physics and topological invariants. Faculty, postdoctoral students and graduate students will present at the conference.
